Biography.
Originally from Australia, Kate is an Advanced Certified Meditation and Mindfulness Coach, Breathwork Facilitator, Pranayama and Yoga Teacher (1000+hrs). After completing a Bachelors in Applied Medical Sciences (BAppSc), she trained in diagnostic imaging and worked in healthcare for various government facilities and private organisations within Australia and the United Kingdom. After 9 years of practice, Kate suffered a burnout and found that turning to her yoga and meditation practices created new possibilities to heal, refocus and reset.
This journey of recovery led Kate to her first yoga teacher training in India, where she was lucky enough to find phenomenal mentors who placed importance not only on movement, but on a deeper knowledge of philosophy and practices of meditation. This first training sparked a profound interest in the human psyche and practices of the mind, and this inspiration continues to drive Kate to study how the workings of the mind can so deeply impact the physical body and overall well-being.
Continuing down this path, Kate has become increasingly convinced that when it comes to physical, mental and emotional health, we all have the power within us to take back control. This feeling of inspiration resulted in her completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology (GradDipPsych), as well as undertaking the intensive trainings to become a Certified Mindfulness Practitioner and Advanced Breathwork Facilitator. She has since also added Vagal Toning for Nervous System Reset, Somatic Release and NeuroAffective Touch to her skillset. She is also currently completing a Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner training programme.
In August 2023 Kate Co-Founded an online breathwork platform, PRANABEAT, giving users the chance to transform and discover the profound power of their breath via an extensive library of breathwork practices curated to address the full spectrum of complex human emotion. Furthermore, the PRANABEAT platform was copywritten solely by Kate, and boasts a plethora of
knowledge about breathwork and other related topics. Through the platform users are also invited to take their transformation deeper with a library of specialised journaling prompts helping to uncover reasons behind destructive behavioural patterns and habits.
Kate has taught mindfulness programmes, breathwork workshops and yoga classes for organisations and communities both large and small, as well as being involved in content creation for various mental health support and well-being platforms such as Nilo.Health, Urban Sports Club, and My Inner Health Club. She has created corporate wellness programmes and public events for international clients such as Live Nation, Nike, Ticketmaster, Gorillas, Tier Mobility, FableticsEU, WeWork and Choco Communications, and has trained students and groups across Europe, the United Kingdom and Australia. Kate is also a Global Trainer for Nike, representing the Nike Well Collective in Breathwork, Mindfulness, Meditation and Yoga.
Empowering clients to cultivate self compassion, Kate’s work helps them improve physical health, and rewire their brains toward positivity and away from self-limiting beliefs. Shifts which often facilitate an umbrella effect in other aspects of life, brining about improvements in both personal and professional relationships, creativity and resilience and allowing one to gain greater access to their innate physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
